The scourge of online shopping: False product reviews

but that’s not enough…

One of the most valuable things for any online seller is high user ratings; the star system that’s so prevalent all over the web and on social media.

Some unscrupulous sellers figured out that they could game the system by creating dozens of fake 5 start ratings. It’s been a huge problem for Amazon in particular.

So on top of finding the highest rated products, we’ve found resources for checking the validity of product ratings, so when we review van gear such as a campervan heater or portable shower, we double check the quality of the reviews using Fakespot and other powerful tools so we’re certain that we’re recommending the best possible products.
